The Stock Market

GOURMET COMFORT AND MORE

While Del Monte is almost synonymous with pineapples and ketchup, The Stock Market’s menu offers a medley of gourmet comfort food, served and prepared with groups in mind. Starting off your meal with the Tomato Fondue served with mozzarella and Parmesan croutons (P285, for sharing), immediately tells you that a new trend in creative gourmet has emerged. All topped with Arugula, The Stock Market’s pizza selection (P310-P375, for sharing) offers unique ingredients like smoked salmon, white cheese and even walnuts. Salads (P240-P320, for sharing) are a must if you want to savor fresh stocks served pristine, made with ingredients found in the retail section of the resto, which features special sweet pineapples harvested from Del Monte farms in Bukidnon.

The entrée list is divided into 3 sections: Beef & Lamb, Chicken & Pork and Seafood. The Pan-Seared Roast Beef with Potato Gratin (P995, for sharing), based on the famous Del Monte Lodge Roast Beef at the Cawayanon Compound in Bukidnon, comes highly recommended by TSM’s operator-general manager Lizzie Guerrero and Chef Wendel Briones. Another favorite based on a Del Monte Lodge classic is the hefty Prime Burger with Grilled Pineapple, Bacon & Grilled Onions and served with fresh crispy potato French Fries (P395). On the other hand, Spice-Crusted Sea Bass served with Cilantro Cream, Smoked Pepper Mayonnaise and a side of Frisco Slaw (P820) is a symphony of flavors, showing the chefs’ skills in serving seafood entrees.

For dessert, It’s a difficult choice between the Dulce de Leche Cheesecake (P210) and the Key Lime Pie (P160) for dessert. Both are served moist with just the right sweetness. The beverage selection offers the freshest fruit juices that you can opt to have shaken. For the more adventurous, the Cucumber Lime juice is definitely a cool treat for your palate.
