History
In 2006, the Laus family’s 55 year old house was transformed into a restaurant called In-Yo by Chef Niño and his ex-girlfriend. When their romance died in 2008, a new fine dining restaurant was born. It was called Ninyo. Chef Niño got the full support of his family in this solo endeavor, with his sister Carla even giving up an advertising career in Vietnam to partner with him in expanding into a wine lounge. She travelled to Australia and Europe to check out the scene and came back home with a Certificate from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust.
Chef Niño and Carla now run the restaurant and wine lounge with their mom, Edna. All of them literally living and breathing Ninyo. They are constant fixtures in the restaurant, welcoming guests as if they are house guests of the family.
