Menudo A La Cubana
Rich in Iron- for healthy red blood cells
Makes 5 servings


| 200 g (200 g) | ground pork |
| 100 g (100 g) | carrot, diced |
| 200 g (200 g) | potato, diced |
| 1 pouch (80 g) | DEL MONTE Quick 'n Easy Menudo Sauce |
| 1/4 cup (38.75 g) | raisins |
| 1/3 cup (26.67 g) | cooked/frozen green peas |
| 3 pc (375 g) | medium ripe saba bananas, sliced diagonally and fried |
| 5 pc (250 g) | fried eggs |
| 2 tbsp (28 g) | cooking oil |
| 2 tsp (12 g) | patis |
| 1/4 tsp (.75 g) | pepper |

1. SAUTé pork until brown. Add carrot, potato and 2 tsp patis. Cook for 5 minutes.
2. ADD DEL MONTE Quick 'n Easy Menudo Sauce, raisins and 1/4 tsp pepper. Cook for 5 minutes. Add green peas. Cook for 2 minutes.
3. SERVE with saba, rice and eggs if desired.
